Israeli cybersecurity startup Lumia Safety has introduced elevating $18 million in a seed funding spherical led by Team8, with extra help from New Period.
Based in 2024 and headquartered in New York and Tel Aviv, Lumia Safety has constructed a safety and governance platform that gives organizations with visibility and management over how their staff use AI brokers.
Based on Lumia, its platform understands the motion, intent, context, and content material of AI interactions between staff or autonomous brokers and AI instruments.
The answer repeatedly evaluates publicity dangers, delivers full visibility and management over AI agent actions, and enforces insurance policies.
Lumia’s platform integrates on the community gateways for infrastructure-native governance, doesn’t require endpoint modifications, and helps hundreds of AI functions.
The brand new funding will enable the startup to broaden its engineering and analysis groups, improve integrations with AI ecosystems, and scale go-to-market efforts.
Along with the $18 million in funding, Lumia introduced the appointment of Admiral Michael Rogers, former NSA and US Cyber Command director, to its advisory board.
Lumia was based by Omri Iluz, the co-founder of PerimeterX, which was acquired by Human Safety, and Bobi Gilburd, former CTO of Israel’s army intelligence arm Unit 8200.Commercial. Scroll to proceed studying.
“Autonomous AI is accelerating quicker than most organizations are ready for. Enterprises want early visibility, clear guardrails, and a framework for accountability earlier than these programs grow to be embedded in each workflow,” Admiral Rogers mentioned.
