Varonis Acquires Email Security Firm SlashNext

Varonis Methods (Nasdaq: VRNS) introduced the acquisition of electronic mail safety supplier SlashNext.

Based in 2017 by Atif Mushtaq, one of many fundamental architects of FireEye’s core malware sandbox expertise, SlashNext leverages predictive AI fashions to guard customers from superior spearphishing and social engineering assaults by way of electronic mail and collaboration apps reminiscent of Zoom, WhatsApp, Slack, and Groups.

“The acquisition of SlashNext is a pure evolution of our platform and considerably expands our complete addressable market,” stated Yaki Faitelson, CEO, and Co-Founding father of Varonis. “By connecting the dots between electronic mail, identification, and information we are going to dramatically enhance the worth of our MDDR service and assist clients cease threats of their inbox, the place many information breaches start.”
