Adobe on Monday introduced that it has appointed Aanchal Gupta as its new Chief Safety Officer (CSO).
The software program big advised SecurityWeek that Gupta has been tasked with main the imaginative and prescient and technique for the corporate’s international cybersecurity program, whereas supporting its broader AI governance efforts.
Adobe stated Gupta’s appointment displays its continued funding in advancing cybersecurity at a time when belief is foundational to innovation.
Previous to Adobe, Gupta held cybersecurity management roles at Microsoft for greater than 5 years, initially serving as Vice President, Azure Safety, and later as Company Vice President, Cloud and M365 Safety.
She then served as CVP and Deputy CISO, till a significant shakeup at Microsoft in December 2023, when she took on the position of CVP, Workplace Product Group, the place she stayed till her departure to Adobe.
