CrowdStrike to Acquire Onum to Fuel Falcon Next-Gen SIEM With Real-Time Telemetry

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) on Wednesday introduced plans to accumulate Onum, a Spanish startup that gives real-time telemetry pipeline expertise.

The cybersecurity large says the acquisition will deliver useful expertise to reinforce CrowdStrike’s Falcon Subsequent-Gen SIEM.

“Onum is each a pipeline and a filter, which is able to stream high-quality, filtered information instantly into the platform to drive autonomous cybersecurity at scale,” stated George Kurtz, CEO and founding father of CrowdStrike. “That is how we cease breaches on the pace of AI whereas giving prospects full management over their complete information ecosystem – nicely past cybersecurity.”

Onum is constructed on a stateless, in-memory structure, which CrowdStrike says will complement its SIEM and produce pace, scale, and effectivity in onboarding whereas giving prospects management of their safety and observability information.

Phrases of the deal weren’t disclosed, however the acquisition is reportedly valued at $290 million.

Launched in 2023 by Pedro Castillo, founding father of Devo, and Lucas Varela, a former cybersecurity chief at CaixaBank, Onum has raised greater than $40 million in funding.
