French Soccer Federation Hit by Cyberattack, Member Data Stolen

Posted on November 28, 2025November 28, 2025 By CWS

The French soccer federation has been hit by a cyber-attack that resulted within the theft of information regarding members, it stated on Thursday.

The FFF stated the software program utilized by golf equipment for his or her administrative administration, significantly for dealing with their registered members, had been focused by “a cyber-malicious act and a knowledge theft.” It didn’t say what number of members had been affected.

In line with the federation, the difficulty was resolved after the unauthorized entry, carried out utilizing a compromised account, was detected.

“The FFF’s providers took the mandatory steps to safe the software program and the information, notably by instantly disabling the account in query and resetting all user-account passwords,” it stated.

The federation has filed a criticism. It stated the breach was restricted to private info equivalent to names, gender, nationality or postal and e mail addresses.

“The FFF is dedicated to defending all the information entrusted to it and regularly strengthens and adapts its safety measures so as to face, like many different organizations, the rising selection and new types of cyber-attacks,” it stated.
