Imper.ai Emerges From Stealth Mode With $28 Million in Funding

Cybersecurity startup Imper.ai has emerged from stealth mode with $28 million in funding from Redpoint Ventures, Battery Ventures, Maple VC, Vessy VC, and Cerca Companions.

The New York-based agency was based in 2024 by Israeli intelligence veterans Noam Awadish, Anatoly Blighovsky, and Rom Dudkiewicz. They function Imper.ai’s CEO, CPO, and CTO.

Imper.ai is on a mission to determine AI-driven impersonation and social engineering assaults throughout video, voice, and chat communication platforms resembling Zoom, Groups, and Slack.

The corporate says it could detect social engineering in real-time, on the first level of contact, via the evaluation of safety indicators from a number of community gadgets and digital personas.
