Microsoft Removes Password Management from Authenticator App Starting August 2025

Microsoft has stated that it is ending help for passwords in its Authenticator app beginning August 1, 2025.

“Beginning July 2025, the autofill function in Authenticator will cease working, and from August 2025, passwords will not be accessible in Authenticator,” Microsoft stated in a help doc for Microsoft Authenticator.
