Gambit Security Secures M for AI Cyber Resilience

Gambit Security Secures $61M for AI Cyber Resilience

Posted on February 26, 2026 By CWS

Israeli cybersecurity firm Gambit Security has recently left stealth mode, announcing it has secured $61 million in seed and Series A funding from investors including Cyberstarts, Kleiner Perkins, and Spark Capital. This significant financial backing will aid in the advancement of their AI-driven resilience platform.

Innovative AI-Powered Platform

Based in Tel Aviv, Gambit Security has crafted an AI-powered platform designed to map organizational environments, security frameworks, and backup systems. This innovative technology aims to identify and address security vulnerabilities and validate recovery strategies in a real-time setting.

The platform is particularly focused on uncovering risks associated with resilience against ransomware attacks. Despite comprehensive security measures and backup systems, organizations may still face recoverability challenges, which Gambit’s technology seeks to address.

Enhancing Organizational Resilience

Gambit’s platform continuously evaluates an organization’s resilience against dynamic threats, facilitating both remediation and recovery. This ensures consistent business operations, even in the face of potential cyber threats or technical issues.

Beyond cyberattacks, the platform also tackles significant system failures and technical disruptions, promoting improved recovery readiness. It optimizes recovery plans by eliminating redundant and outdated backups, thereby enhancing cost-efficiency.

Strategic Use of Funding

The fresh influx of funds will be directed towards accelerating the development of Gambit’s platform and expanding its sales and customer success teams. Additionally, the startup plans to strengthen its strategic partnerships to broaden its market reach.

Kleiner Perkins partner Ilya Fushman commented on the impact of Gambit’s solutions, highlighting the transformation of data resilience from a cumbersome manual process into an automated, AI-driven capability, instilling confidence in CISOs and IT leaders.

In conjunction with the funding news, Gambit released a report revealing how a threat actor exploited Anthropic’s Claude Code assistant to carry out an automated attack on Mexican government agencies. This underscores the importance of their mission to enhance cyber resilience.
