Brava Security Secures $15M Funding to Enhance Cyber Defense

Posted on November 8, 2026 By CWS

Security technology innovator Brava Security has successfully completed a $15 million seed funding round. The investment was led by F2 Venture Capital and Pitango VC, with additional contributions from several angel investors. This significant financial backing marks Brava’s official emergence from stealth mode, positioning it for accelerated growth and development.

Founders and Vision

Based in Tel Aviv, Brava Security was established in 2024 by Idan Basre and Itay Gabbay, both veterans of Israeli intelligence. Basre assumes the role of CEO, while Gabbay serves as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Their combined expertise has been instrumental in developing Brava’s cutting-edge AI platform designed to simulate and analyze cyber threats.

The platform leverages artificial intelligence to model attacker behavior, providing valuable insights into potential security vulnerabilities. By simulating attacks, Brava’s solution helps organizations understand how threats might unfold in their unique environments, revealing possible weaknesses in existing defenses.

Innovative Approach to Cybersecurity

Brava Security’s approach is tailored to address a critical gap in modern cybersecurity measures. Traditional AI systems often struggle to detect threats they have not been programmed to recognize. Brava’s platform, however, anticipates these challenges by allowing security teams to preemptively identify what an attack would look like across various log sources.

As Gabbay explains, the challenge lies not in creating detections but in understanding how an attack might manifest in different settings. The platform’s ability to integrate business context into its analyses ensures that security teams are equipped to handle potential threats more effectively.

Future Prospects and Expansion Plans

With the new funding, Brava Security aims to enhance its product offerings and expand its market presence. The company maintains a research and development team in Israel, while its commercial operations are based in the United States. This strategic positioning enables Brava to tap into diverse markets and further its innovation efforts.

Brava’s platform is notable for its ability to provide actionable insights within minutes of deployment, integrating seamlessly with over 70 sources and destinations without necessitating changes to existing security infrastructures. This user-friendly approach underscores the company’s commitment to making advanced cybersecurity accessible to a broader audience.

The recent funding will not only facilitate product development but also support Brava’s ambition to establish itself as a leader in AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, Brava Security is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cyber defense.
