Bold Security Unveils Million Funding Round

Bold Security Unveils $40 Million Funding Round

Posted on March 13, 2026 By CWS

Bold Security, a cybersecurity startup based in New York, has announced its emergence from stealth mode, unveiling a significant $40 million funding round. This financial boost comes from prominent investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Picture Capital, and Red Dot Capital Partners.

AI-Driven Protection Strategy

Co-founded by Nati Hazut, an experienced entrepreneur who currently leads as CEO, Bold Security distinguishes itself with a unique approach to cybersecurity. Their platform leverages AI agents to transform standard security monitoring into a proactive defense mechanism. This cutting-edge solution operates AI directly on enterprise endpoints, providing instantaneous protection by analyzing user interactions and AI tool activities on these devices.

The company highlights that its proprietary AI models are designed to comprehend user behaviors and the data they engage with in the broader business context. This capability enables the detection of potential risks and the prevention of incidents in real-time.

Real-Time Monitoring and Privacy Assurance

Bold Security’s solution ensures seamless behavior monitoring, real-time data classification, and policy enforcement without any delay, thanks to the AI’s local operation on devices. The platform prides itself on offering privacy as a default feature. All data analysis is conducted locally, ensuring that user data is not used to train the company’s AI models, with evidence storage fully managed by the customer.

Adoption of Bold’s platform is already underway among major enterprises in the United States. The recent funding will be strategically invested in enhancing the AI capabilities of their platform, addressing modern risks in enterprise environments, and accelerating global market expansion efforts.

Balancing Security and Efficiency

Jeff Simon, CISO of Shutterfly, emphasized the importance of effective yet unobtrusive security solutions. He noted that Bold Security’s approach helps in integrating AI into daily workflows without impeding user productivity, ensuring teams can operate swiftly without introducing new vulnerabilities.

As cybersecurity continues to evolve, Bold Security’s innovative solutions and strategic funding are poised to play a critical role in shaping the future of endpoint protection.

Related news includes the launch of Onyx Security with similar funding and the emergence of Jazz from stealth with a substantial $61 million backing for its AI-powered data loss prevention.
