Hush Security Secures $30M for AI Governance Innovation

Posted on July 28, 2026 By CWS

Hush Security Advances AI Oversight with Major Funding

In a significant development for the cybersecurity landscape, Hush Security has successfully secured $30 million in its Series A funding round. This latest financial boost, led by Akamai Technologies and supported by previous investors Battery Ventures and YL Ventures, elevates the startup’s total fundraising efforts to $41 million.

Established in 2024 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Hush Security stepped into the spotlight in September 2025 with its innovative machine access platform. This solution empowers businesses to manage enterprise AI agents and their underlying systems securely. The platform’s central registry feature ensures AI agents operate with scoped just-in-time permissions, effectively removing the need for traditional credentials and enhancing security with comprehensive logging and a centralized kill switch.

Enhancing AI Agent Security

The core functionality of Hush Security’s platform lies in its ability to identify and control AI agents operating within corporate environments. By mapping the machine-controlled processes (MCPs), tools, and resources these agents access, organizations can maintain a robust security posture. The platform facilitates the registration and management of AI agents from a unified interface, allowing administrators to define permissions and enforce policies for each action taken.

Moreover, Hush Security provides a detailed audit trail for every AI agent interaction, which is crucial for supporting investigations, compliance, and governance needs. This feature ensures that all actions are traceable, helping companies to meet regulatory requirements and maintain operational transparency.

Strategic Investment for Growth

The infusion of $30 million will enable Hush Security to expand its workforce by hiring additional talent across engineering and sales departments. The company aims to accelerate its Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities and enhance support for agentic ecosystems. Additionally, the investment will facilitate the expansion of corporate partnerships, further solidifying Hush Security’s position in the cybersecurity sector.

According to Micha Rave, co-founder and CEO of Hush Security, the necessity for stringent identity management extends beyond human users to encompass AI agents operating autonomously within sensitive systems. The company’s solution addresses this need by providing robust governance mechanisms for non-human identities, a critical advancement in securing AI interactions.

Industry Implications and Future Outlook

As the cybersecurity industry continues to evolve, the emphasis on AI governance is becoming increasingly paramount. Hush Security’s recent funding round underscores the growing recognition of the importance of secure AI agent management. The company’s continued innovation and strategic growth initiatives are likely to set new standards for AI governance, influencing the broader cybersecurity landscape.

Looking ahead, as organizations increasingly adopt AI-driven solutions, the demand for platforms like Hush Security’s is expected to rise. The company’s commitment to enhancing AI governance and expanding its capabilities positions it as a key player in shaping the future of cybersecurity.
