Onyx Security Secures 3 Million to Enhance AI Safety

Onyx Security Secures $113 Million to Enhance AI Safety

Posted on July 30, 2026 By CWS

Onyx Security has successfully raised $113 million to bolster AI safety measures within enterprises, as announced on Wednesday. This pivotal Series B funding round was spearheaded by Bessemer Venture Partners, with significant contributions from investors such as Cyberstarts, TCV, Conviction, FirstMark, Vintage, QuantumLight, and G Squared.

Funding to Propel AI Security Innovations

Since its inception two years ago, Onyx Security has accumulated a total of $153 million in funding. The newly acquired capital will be allocated towards enhancing its proprietary AI models and expanding its market reach. While the company has not formally disclosed its valuation, reports suggest that the recent financial boost places Onyx at an approximate worth of $640 million.

Centralized Platform for AI Oversight

Onyx Security provides a comprehensive platform designed to help companies manage and secure their AI tools across various networks. The solution addresses potential risks associated with AI agents that have access to critical systems but lack accountability and oversight. By leveraging its proprietary models, Onyx can monitor AI decision-making processes in real-time, allowing for immediate intervention to prevent unintended or harmful activities within SaaS, cloud, and endpoint environments.

Ensuring Compliance and Secure AI Integration

The company’s technology enables organizations to identify unauthorized AI applications, implement real-time security measures against threats like prompt injections, and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements. As stated by Hila Zigman, general partner at Cyberstarts, “As AI agents become integral to business operations, ensuring their safe and policy-compliant operation is essential. Onyx is developing the necessary control layer to facilitate large-scale AI adoption in enterprises.”

With its innovative approach to AI safety, Onyx Security is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future landscape of enterprise technology, positioning itself as a leader in this emerging security domain.
