Airlock Digital Introduces AI Control for Enhanced Security

Airlock Digital Introduces AI Control for Enhanced Security

Posted on August 4, 2026 By CWS

Airlock Digital has launched a new initiative named Agentic AI Control & Governance, enhancing its existing endpoint security solutions. Unveiled at Black Hat USA 2026, this development offers comprehensive visibility and control over AI agent behavior on organizational endpoints.

Innovative Approach to AI Agent Management

The introduction of Agentic AI Control & Governance extends beyond traditional application management by incorporating command and session-level monitoring of AI agents. This system supports centralized policy management and real-time governance, ensuring AI agents adhere to organizational policies once operational. The general availability of these features is anticipated in the third quarter of 2026.

As AI agents integrate more deeply into business operations, distinguishing their activities from conventional software remains challenging. While existing endpoint security identifies trusted software, the emergence of AI agents necessitates a nuanced understanding of their actions and capabilities within the enterprise environment.

Addressing Emerging Security Challenges

The Cloud Security Alliance reported in April 2026 that 82% of organizations had unidentified AI agents operating within their systems, with 65% encountering AI-related security incidents in the past year. These statistics underscore the pressing need for enhanced security measures like those provided by Airlock Digital’s new framework.

The Agentic AI system adds a vital layer to security protocols, dictating what actions AI agents can undertake post-execution. This functionality allows organizations to set clear operational boundaries, facilitating AI agents to adjust their actions while remaining compliant with policy guidelines.

Empowering IT and Security Teams

Designed to support IT and security personnel, Agentic AI Control & Governance offers tools to automatically detect AI applications, manage policies centrally, and evaluate AI commands against established policies in real time. It also enables comprehensive monitoring and reporting of AI sessions and activities from a unified dashboard.

By governing AI directly at the endpoints, Airlock Digital ensures consistent policy enforcement across various AI platforms, thus enhancing overall security. This approach provides businesses with the assurance needed to adopt AI technologies without compromising operational efficiency.

Kevin Dunne, CEO of Airlock Digital, emphasized the importance of governance in AI adoption, noting that the challenge lies not in incorporating AI but in managing it effectively. The company’s leadership in preventative endpoint security is further solidified by this innovative offering, which will be demonstrated at Black Hat USA 2026.
