AccuKnox Introduces AgentZ for AI Agent Management

AccuKnox Introduces AgentZ for AI Agent Management

Posted on August 27, 2026 By CWS

AccuKnox has officially launched AgentZ, a comprehensive platform designed for the construction, operation, and governance of AI agents across different enterprise environments. Announced on August 27th, 2026, in Menlo Park, California, this innovation aims to streamline AI agent management by integrating all necessary components into one cohesive system.

Unified Platform for AI Agent Management

AgentZ offers a single platform that integrates agent execution environments, tools, workflows, and governance mechanisms. This integration allows organizations to transition agents from experimental stages to full production without the need for separate, disconnected components. The platform’s structure, which includes Organizations, Workspaces, Agents, Workflows, and Sandboxes, facilitates centralized administration and access control through user roles.

With AgentZ, workflows can efficiently utilize agents for computations, sandboxes for isolation, and skills for reuse. It also supports runtime credential injection and triggers to manage workflow execution times.

Flexible and Secure Deployment Options

AgentZ is built to be model-agnostic, supporting various language models such as OpenAI, Claude, and Grok. This flexibility allows teams to switch models without needing to revamp the supporting agent infrastructure. Additionally, the platform provides isolated execution environments where each agent operates within its own sandbox, ensuring secure and controlled execution.

These sandboxes offer customizable options like vCPU and RAM allocation, filesystem permissions, domain whitelisting, package management, and network access, creating secure boundaries for agent execution.

Robust Security and Deployment Features

Incorporating built-in security, AgentZ emphasizes zero-trust controls, tool-level permissions, and sandboxed executions. This focus ensures that the platform is secure by default, yet versatile enough to support a wide range of workflows, from security investigations to sales intelligence and HR processes.

AgentZ supports various deployment models, including SaaS, on-premise, and air-gapped setups, allowing organizations to choose the best fit for their infrastructure and security needs. Moreover, it provides visibility into the agent’s execution path through visual workflow graphs, execution traces, and audit logs, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Co-founders Rahul Jadhav and Nat Natraj emphasize that while creating agents capable of tool utilization is straightforward, the challenge lies in defining their operational boundaries and maintaining a secure execution environment. AgentZ addresses these challenges by embedding essential security and control features directly within the workflow.

AccuKnox, known for its Zero Trust Security platform for various digital ecosystems, continues to innovate with AgentZ, leveraging its research roots from SRI International. Supported by notable investors, AccuKnox remains at the forefront of AI and security solutions.
