MIND’s M Boost for AI-Enhanced Data Protection

MIND’s $72M Boost for AI-Enhanced Data Protection

Posted on September 18, 2026 By CWS

AI-driven data protection company MIND has successfully raised $72 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $112 million. This latest investment was spearheaded by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with continued support from YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group.

Expansion and Innovation in Data Protection

Founded in Seattle, MIND has rapidly gained attention since emerging from stealth mode in 2024. The company’s AI-native data loss prevention (DLP) platform is designed to safeguard customer data through intelligent automation. By employing real-time detection, MIND prevents data breaches across enterprise environments, including email, endpoints, and SaaS applications.

The platform leverages advanced multi-layer classification to identify both content and context. MIND’s AI agents manage the DLP processes by monitoring incidents, refining policies, and addressing potential issues proactively.

Strategic Growth Plans

With the new funding, MIND aims to accelerate the development of its platform, targeting expansion into major enterprise markets. The company also plans to strengthen its partnerships and grow its team to support these efforts.

MIND’s co-founder and CEO, Eran Barak, emphasized the challenges faced by security leaders who must protect data that moves at AI speed with outdated tools. Barak noted the opportunity to redefine DLP solutions for the AI era, positioning MIND as a leader in data security innovation.

A New Era for DLP Solutions

Barak highlighted the dual role of AI in accelerating data security challenges and providing advanced solutions to address them. He expressed confidence that the current moment is pivotal for reshaping data loss prevention strategies.

The company’s vision aligns with a broader trend in the cybersecurity industry, where AI-powered solutions are increasingly essential to manage the growing complexity and speed of data movement.

MIND’s significant funding round positions it well to make impactful advancements in data protection technologies, setting new standards for the industry. As AI continues to evolve, MIND is poised to lead the charge in redefining how enterprises secure their sensitive data.
