CyberCheck360: Advancing Email Security Beyond Gateways

CyberCheck360: Advancing Email Security Beyond Gateways

Posted on June 10, 2026 By CWS

Email security remains a critical concern in today’s digital world. Despite robust authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, a significant gap persists, allowing malicious links to bypass security measures. CyberCheck360 addresses this vulnerability by focusing on link evaluation at the moment of access, providing an additional layer of protection where traditional gateways fall short.

Understanding the Limitations of Email Authentication

While SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are designed to authenticate the sender of an email, they do not assess the destination of embedded links. This gap allows attackers to exploit well-configured domains, passing these checks while directing users to malicious sites. Traditional email gateways struggle to address this issue due to their reliance on reputation-based detection, which often lags behind rapidly evolving threats.

Palo Alto Networks’ research highlights the delay in threat-intelligence blocklists, with new domains potentially remaining unlisted for up to 30 days. This window provides ample opportunity for attackers to conduct credential-harvesting campaigns undetected, rendering reputation scores ineffective in real-time threat prevention.

CyberCheck360’s Approach to Real-Time Threat Detection

CyberCheck360 tackles these challenges with a multi-layered approach. At the core is the real-time evaluation of links when accessed. By integrating real-time reputation lookups, domain-age interrogation, and page-content analysis, CyberCheck360 detects threats that traditional methods overlook.

This solution scrutinizes the registration age of domains and cross-references these against signals like TLS issuance dates. This approach identifies anomalies, such as a six-day-old domain hosting a login form, that are typically invisible to blocklists. Additionally, AI-driven content analysis checks the authenticity of page elements against expected branding, offering a robust defense against phishing attempts.

Implementing CyberCheck360 in Security Workflows

CyberCheck360 enhances security workflows through its browser extension and email add-ons for Outlook and Gmail. The extension automatically performs all security checks upon link clicks, requiring no user intervention, making it effective against Day-1 clones. The email add-ons enable pre-click triage and sandboxed detonation, allowing security teams to observe link behavior without risk to local systems.

By offering a manual link checker, CyberCheck360 provides flexibility for one-off verifications. This tool gives users the ability to assess a link’s safety quickly, making it a valuable resource in both individual and team environments.

The Future of Email Security with CyberCheck360

CyberCheck360’s focus on real-time link evaluation represents a significant leap forward in email security. By addressing the limitations of traditional authentication methods and enhancing detection capabilities at the point of access, it offers a comprehensive solution to phishing threats. As organizations continue to face evolving cybersecurity challenges, tools like CyberCheck360 will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining trust in digital communications.
