LuxSci Introduces HIPAA-Compliant Email Solution

LuxSci Introduces HIPAA-Compliant Email Solution

Posted on May 6, 2026 By CWS

Cambridge, MA, May 5, 2026 – LuxSci has unveiled a new email solution tailored to mid-sized healthcare organizations. This offering, LuxSci Secure High Volume Email, delivers robust encryption and easy API integration, ensuring HIPAA compliance and HITRUST certification. The service is now available with pricing starting at $99 per month.

Advanced Email Security for Healthcare

LuxSci, known for its secure healthcare communication services, has expanded its offerings to cater specifically to mid-sized healthcare providers. The new solution provides enterprise-level email security and encryption without the need for custom quotes, making it accessible to a broader range of healthcare entities including regional health systems, specialty practices, and urgent care networks.

This service ensures that mid-sized organizations can benefit from the same level of security and compliance as larger healthcare providers, with a tiered pricing model based on email volume. Organizations can send between 300 and 99,000 emails monthly using this highly secure platform.

Intelligent Encryption and Seamless Integration

At the core of LuxSci’s offering is its SecureLine encryption technology, which intelligently selects the best encryption method for each recipient, such as TLS, secure portal fallback, PGP, or S/MIME. This adaptive encryption is crucial as HIPAA regulations become more stringent and email threats evolve.

The solution also includes an advanced REST API with webhooks, allowing seamless integration into systems like EHRs, CRMs, and customer data platforms. This enables secure data flows and engagement tracking, which are essential for maintaining compliance and enhancing patient communications.

Market Timing and Future Outlook

The introduction of this service is timely, as changes to the HHS HIPAA Security Rule are expected to make email encryption mandatory by mid-2026. LuxSci’s solution is designed to meet these upcoming requirements, supported by its HITRUST CSF r2 certification and long-standing expertise in secure healthcare communications.

LuzSci’s CEO, Mark Leonard, emphasized the importance of this launch, stating that it addresses the gap between inadequate tools and complex enterprise solutions, making it easier for mid-sized healthcare organizations to adopt robust email security practices.

LuxSci Secure High Volume Email is available immediately, with detailed pricing and product information accessible online. Healthcare organizations are encouraged to contact LuxSci for demonstrations and further inquiries.

About LuxSci: Established in 1999, LuxSci specializes in secure communication solutions for the healthcare industry. The company serves over 2,000 clients, providing HIPAA-compliant tools for secure email, marketing, forms, and hosting. LuxSci recently merged with Ovia Health, expanding its capabilities in digital care and telehealth.
