NAKIVO v11.2 Enhances Replication and vSphere Support

NAKIVO v11.2 Enhances Replication and vSphere Support

Posted on March 24, 2026 By CWS

NAKIVO Inc. has introduced NAKIVO Backup & Replication v11.2, marking a significant update in data protection solutions. Released on March 6, 2026, this version enhances platform compatibility, security, and disaster recovery speed, catering to global organizations.

Key Features of v11.2

The latest update focuses on three main areas: expanded platform support, improved security measures, and accelerated recovery processes. With added compatibility for VMware vSphere 9 and Proxmox VE 9.0/9.1, users can now seamlessly back up and restore data across modern virtualization platforms.

Real-time replication capabilities significantly reduce recovery time, while the introduction of OAuth 2.0 authentication for email notifications addresses previous security concerns in backup communication. Managed service providers benefit from an upgraded MSP Direct Connect, enabling more efficient management of multiple tenant environments.

Customer Experiences with NAKIVO

Users of NAKIVO’s VMware backup solutions have reported positive outcomes. Matt Mitchell, a Web Developer at the University of Colorado Denver, highlighted the efficiency gains: “NAKIVO Backup & Replication allows us to recover VMware VMs within 10 minutes and has reduced storage usage by 80% through data deduplication.”

Ongoing Growth and Expansion

NAKIVO has seen steady expansion, with a 25% increase in revenue year-over-year for Q4 2025. The EMEA region contributed 68% of the revenue, followed by 23% from the Americas and 8% from APJ. Markets such as Ukraine, Malaysia, and Costa Rica experienced significant growth, driven by organic demand.

The company has expanded its partner network by adding 205 new collaborators, including first-time representations in Cabo Verde and Mongolia. Cloud partnerships and enterprise adoption have both grown by 19%, with NAKIVO now serving over 16,000 clients in 191 countries.

CEO Bruce Talley emphasizes the company’s commitment to providing secure and manageable solutions: “v11.2 exemplifies our dedication to offering reliable solutions as IT landscapes evolve.”

NAKIVO Inc., based in the U.S., specializes in backup, disaster recovery, and ransomware protection across virtual, physical, cloud, and SaaS environments. Trusted by numerous partners and over 16,000 customers—including industry leaders like Coca-Cola, Honda, Siemens, and Cisco—NAKIVO continues to be a key player in data protection.
