Beelzebub Secures .4M to Enhance Cybersecurity Platform

Beelzebub Secures $3.4M to Enhance Cybersecurity Platform

Posted on July 27, 2026 By CWS

Beelzebub, a Milan-based cybersecurity firm leveraging AI technology, has announced a successful seed funding round, securing €3 million (approximately $3.4 million). This funding, led by United Ventures, brings the company’s total funding to $3.8 million, marking a significant step in its growth trajectory.

Innovative Cybersecurity Approach

Established in 2025, Beelzebub has developed a unique platform that combines both red and blue team strategies to combat AI-driven cyber threats. The platform assumes a proactive stance, operating under the premise that networks have already been breached. It waits for attackers to act, then captures them using a sophisticated loop of simulation, detection, and intelligence.

This system employs continuous adversary emulation to identify potential attack paths before they’re exploited. It also uses real-time deception technology powered by large language models (LLM) to detect intrusions and respond immediately.

Advanced Threat Intelligence

Beyond merely isolating compromised systems and initiating incident response, Beelzebub utilizes autonomous threat intelligence to turn intercepted attacks into robust defenses. An AI-driven analyst is integrated within the platform to dissect malware and generate comprehensive incident reports, suitable for on-premises use in secure environments.

Designed to be NIS2 compliant, the platform benefits from live threat intelligence sourced from over 60 independent researchers worldwide, offering flexibility as either a Software as a Service (SaaS) or an on-premises solution.

Expansion and Future Goals

With the new funding, Beelzebub aims to expand its research team and establish offices in Rome and San Francisco. The company is focused on attracting more clients across Europe, particularly those requiring compliance with NIS2 regulations.

Mario Candela, the founder and CEO of Beelzebub, emphasized the perpetual nature of cybersecurity challenges. He noted that AI-powered attackers are increasingly formidable, necessitating equally advanced defensive measures. Beelzebub’s adaptable product is continuously updated to counter the latest sophisticated threats.

As the cybersecurity landscape evolves, Beelzebub is positioning itself at the forefront of innovation, ready to address the challenges posed by modern cyber adversaries.
