Hadrian Secures M to Boost AI Security Platform

Hadrian Secures $40M to Boost AI Security Platform

Posted on October 7, 2026 By CWS

Hadrian, a cybersecurity firm headquartered in Amsterdam, has successfully raised $40 million in a Series B funding round. This latest financial boost brings the company’s total funding to $65 million, underscoring its commitment to advancing its AI-driven security platform. The funding round was co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin, with continued support from previous investors such as HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital, and Oetker Ventures.

Expansion and Investment Plans

The newly acquired capital will be strategically utilized to broaden Hadrian’s presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and the United States. Additionally, a significant portion of the funds will be directed towards enhancing the firm’s engineering and research capabilities. This expansion will allow Hadrian to further develop its AI native offensive security platform, which is designed to operate at the speed of modern cyber threats.

Founded in 2021 by ethical hackers Rogier Fischer and Olivier Beg, along with entrepreneur Maurice Clin, Hadrian aims to redefine offensive security. Their platform incorporates advanced AI technology to continuously identify, validate, and prioritize external cyber threats. By combining exposure management with agentic penetration testing, Hadrian offers a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity.

Addressing the AI Threat Landscape

Hadrian’s security platform is structured around two primary components: Atlas and Nova. Atlas employs AI agents to map and assess an organization’s external vulnerabilities, while Nova facilitates on-demand penetration testing. This approach is designed to bridge the gap between the rapid evolution of AI-assisted cyber attacks and the slower pace of traditional security measures.

The company highlights the challenge of outdated manual pentesting methods, with data indicating that 87% of organizations still rely on them. Hadrian’s solution aims to address this inefficiency by automating the identification of genuine threats, thus reducing the noise from non-critical alerts.

Leveraging AI for Enhanced Security

According to Hadrian, the integration of AI in their platform results in significant improvements in security operations. Customers reportedly experience tenfold increases in visibility of critical risks, a fivefold return on investment compared to manual methods, and an 80% reduction in time to resolution. The platform’s AI capabilities enable continuous monitoring and validation of cyber threats, allowing security teams to focus their efforts more effectively.

Hadrian’s founders, drawing on their experience as ethical hackers, have crafted a platform that mirrors the methodologies of modern cyber attackers. By utilizing AI to emulate hacker strategies, the platform provides organizations with an automated and scalable solution to manage their cybersecurity needs effectively.

With this recent funding and a clear vision for growth and innovation, Hadrian is poised to strengthen its position in the competitive field of AI-driven offensive security, offering a robust defense against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.
