Island Secures $400M Funding, Reaches $6.4B Valuation

Posted on September 24, 2026 By CWS

Island has successfully raised $400 million in a Series F funding round, elevating its valuation to $6.4 billion. This financial milestone was achieved with the leadership of Evolution Equity Partners, and the total capital injected into the company now exceeds $1 billion.

Strategic Enhancement of Platform

The funds will be directed towards enhancing Island’s platform and driving growth. Island is renowned for its development of an agentic control plane that manages both human interactions and automated workflows across various endpoints, software, and networks.

Building on its foundational enterprise browser service, Island’s platform now incorporates a SASE architecture that operates from the endpoint outward. This architecture facilitates zero trust network access (ZTNA), assesses device posture, and provides inline data loss prevention (DLP) without relying on traditional VPNs.

Innovative Security Features

Island’s platform empowers security teams to enforce detailed DLP policies directly where operations occur, preventing unauthorized clipboard transfers, downloads, and screen captures. ZTNA is delivered by continuously verifying user credentials and contextual environment before granting access to private data centers or hosted services.

For organizations leveraging AI, Island’s solution offers protective measures to keep proprietary information separate from external language models, addressing potential risks such as prompt injection.

Leadership Vision

Mike Fey, CEO and co-founder of Island, highlighted the vision behind their innovations, stating, “Island pioneered the Enterprise Browser to safeguard the primary workspace. Our journey expanded into data protection and DLP, and led to the creation of a next-gen SASE architecture from the endpoint outward.” Fey emphasized that these integrated capabilities provide a unified security, productivity, and governance framework for both human and automated workflows.

Island’s successful funding round signifies its strong position in the market and its ambitious plans for future expansion and technological advancement.
