Nebulock Secures $25M for Advanced AI Security

Posted on June 26, 2026 By CWS

Cybersecurity firm Nebulock has successfully secured $25 million in a Series A funding round, elevating its total capital to over $33 million. This significant investment aims to bolster Nebulock’s innovative approach to AI-native contextual security.

Key Investors and Financial Backing

The funding round was spearheaded by FirstMark, with continued support from previous investors such as Bain Capital Ventures, Decibel, Step Function, and Zetta Venture Partners. This strong backing underscores the confidence in Nebulock’s potential to transform the cybersecurity landscape.

Innovative Security Solutions

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Nebulock emerged from stealth mode a year ago with a focus on autonomous threat detection that is independent of specific vendors. The company’s AI-powered solutions have since evolved to include proactive detection engineering and behavioral security analytics, addressing the complex challenges of modern cybersecurity threats.

Nebulock’s platform is designed to correlate data from human and AI interactions, offering detection rules that can be tested and refined. This approach transforms enterprise context into a comprehensive behavioral system, providing critical insights across endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and SaaS environments.

Future Plans and Strategic Growth

The newly acquired funds will be utilized to enhance Nebulock’s platform capabilities, particularly in cross-telemetry correlation and behavioral context graph development. Additionally, the company plans to expand its workforce, focusing on engineering and go-to-market strategies to further cement its position in the cybersecurity sector.

CEO Damien Lewke highlighted the evolving threat landscape, noting the urgency for defenders to become more proactive. Nebulock aims to shift security teams from reactive workflows to a more context-rich, continuous protection strategy, addressing gaps that traditional security stacks may overlook.

This investment positions Nebulock as a key player in the cybersecurity space, with a focus on delivering advanced solutions to preempt and counteract emerging threats.
