TigerByte Cyber Launches with $3M Funding to Enhance Security

Posted on September 19, 2026 By CWS

TigerByte Cyber has officially launched, securing $3 million in a seed funding round. The investment was spearheaded by Hale Capital Partners with additional backing from Tenon VC.

Innovative Cybersecurity Solutions

Based in Hanover, NH, TigerByte Cyber focuses on enhancing cybersecurity for AI and edge devices, ensuring robust protection where these systems operate. The company offers solutions that modernize legacy systems, particularly those that are mission-critical.

Their flagship product, the Cyber Protection Suite (CPS), offers a compact, plug-and-play approach to cybersecurity. It integrates hardware-enforced features such as data validation, deep packet inspection, network segmentation, and post-quantum encryption to secure systems effectively.

Technology and Expansion Plans

TigerByte Cyber’s technology builds upon the innovations initially developed by WebSensing, a company known for its network security products. Since its founding in 2016, WebSensing’s technology and team have transitioned to support the TigerByte brand.

With the new funding, TigerByte Cyber aims to scale its technology to modernize communication and navigation systems across various sectors, including military and commercial aircraft, drones, satellites, and vehicles. Additionally, the firm plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities within the United States.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Outlook

Currently, TigerByte Cyber has secured over $7 million in contracts with U.S. government entities, such as the U.S. Space Force, the U.S. Navy, and DARPA. This underscores the company’s growing influence and reliability in the cybersecurity sector.

CEO Sage Secilmis emphasized their goal to integrate modern cloud security principles into edge systems, which often operate under significant constraints. By leveraging DARPA-developed technologies, they are building a foundation for systems that ensure data integrity and security without interruption.

With these advancements, TigerByte Cyber is poised to redefine how critical systems are protected, promising a future of secure, autonomous operations.
