Dawnguard Secures .3M for Automated Security Platform

Dawnguard Secures $6.3M for Automated Security Platform

Posted on July 1, 2026 By CWS

Dawnguard, a cybersecurity startup based in Amsterdam, has successfully raised an additional $3.3 million in pre-seed funding, increasing its total funding to over $6.3 million. This latest financial boost comes from existing investor BNVT Capital, alongside new contributors Curiosity VC and eCAPITAL.

Innovative Security Solutions for Cloud Systems

Founded in 2025, Dawnguard unveiled its security architecture automation platform to the public. This innovative solution is designed to aid organizations in creating secure cloud environments from the outset, thus preventing the integration of insecure patterns.

The platform provides a comprehensive approach to cloud security, allowing organizations to design compliant cloud architectures, generate Infrastructure-as-Code, and ensure that deployments consistently align with initial designs. This helps eliminate any security discrepancies that may arise between intended designs and actual implementations.

Adapting to the Mythos Era

Dawnguard’s mission is to equip organizations to adapt to the fast-paced evolution of software and its vulnerabilities. The platform facilitates collaboration between engineering and security teams by providing a shared workspace to validate evolving system designs. This integration ensures that security measures evolve in tandem with technological advancements.

The company plans to utilize the new investment to propel the development of AI-driven architecture intelligence and expand its market presence internationally. This strategic move aims to enhance product offerings and bolster global outreach.

Future-Ready Security Architecture

Mahdi Abdulrazak, co-founder and CEO of Dawnguard, emphasized the importance of integrating security from the outset of system design. He noted that traditional models of adding security post-development are insufficient in the face of rapid, machine-speed attacks. By embedding security into the foundation of their platforms, organizations can better withstand continuous probing and exploitation attempts.

With the additional funding and strategic focus on AI-driven solutions, Dawnguard is poised to lead advancements in security architecture, ensuring that organizations remain resilient against emerging cyber threats.
