QIZ Security Secures M for Cryptography Platform

QIZ Security Secures $17M for Cryptography Platform

Posted on July 9, 2026 By CWS

QIZ Security, an innovative Israeli startup, has recently secured $17 million in seed funding to advance its cryptography management platform. This significant investment aims to bolster the company’s capabilities in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) management, reflecting a rising need for robust cybersecurity measures.

Investment Round and Strategic Growth

The funding initiative was spearheaded by Bessemer Venture Partners and Merlin Ventures, with additional contributions from Evolution Equity Partners, Qbeat Ventures, Singtel Innov8, and Qino Cyber Capital. These funds are earmarked for accelerating QIZ Security’s expansion and enhancing the functionality of its platform.

By leveraging this financial backing, QIZ Security plans to refine its offerings, which are designed to help organizations manage encryption across diverse environments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid systems.

Comprehensive Cryptography Management

QIZ Security’s platform is engineered to identify cryptographic assets continuously, mapping their connections to business applications and systems. It effectively highlights vulnerabilities such as outdated protocols and weak cipher suites, ensuring data integrity both in transit and at rest.

The platform’s unique approach involves API-based integration, facilitating smooth collaboration among CISOs, compliance teams, and application owners. This method eliminates the need for agents or network probes, streamlining the management process.

Addressing Quantum Computing Threats

As quantum computing emerges as a potential threat to traditional encryption methods, QIZ Security positions its platform as a crucial tool for business leaders. CEO Ben Volkow emphasized the importance of post-quantum readiness, noting that organizations need continuous oversight to manage cryptographic risks effectively.

“Enterprises cannot migrate what they cannot see,” Volkow stated, underlining the necessity for ongoing monitoring and modernization of cryptographic practices before the advent of quantum computing, often referred to as ‘Q-Day’.

In conclusion, QIZ Security’s recent funding round marks a pivotal step in reinforcing cybersecurity frameworks. As the digital landscape evolves, the company’s proactive approach to cryptographic governance positions it as a key player in safeguarding data against future threats.
