OpenMatter Highlights Verification at Belgrade Blockchain

OpenMatter Highlights Verification at Belgrade Blockchain

Posted on August 17, 2026 By CWS

OpenMatter Network is set to make a significant impact at the upcoming Belgrade Blockchain Week 2026, focusing on the shift from traditional trust models to cryptographic verification in computing. Chris Biele, Head of Operations and Partnerships, will lead key discussions on secure scientific collaboration and agentic AI.

The Shift to Cryptographic Proof

OpenMatter Network, following its recent platform launch, is committed to promoting cryptographic proof as a core component of future computing. In collaboration with Hashgraph Online (HOL) and the Decentralized AI Agent Alliance (DAIAA), the company is working to establish standards for verifiable AI execution. Biele’s involvement in the Belgrade event underscores this mission, aiming to highlight the necessity of verification in autonomous systems.

Key Sessions at Belgrade Blockchain Week

Biele will spearhead a session on August 25th during Moonstruck’s DeSci Day, focusing on privacy-preserving computing methods. This includes masked computing, multi-party computation, and zero-knowledge proofs. The session will feature a demonstration using the OpenMatter Network’s Datavizor solution, showcasing how cryptographic verification can facilitate collaboration without compromising sensitive data.

Furthermore, a fireside chat will explore whether cryptographic proof can replace trust in organizational collaboration. Biele emphasizes the potential of verification to unlock isolated valuable information, enabling secure scientific and innovative advancements.

Exploring Future Applications

On August 26th, Biele will deliver a keynote at ETH Belgrade, titled “Don’t Trust, Prove: Building the Post-Quantum Verification Layer for Agentic AI.” He will discuss the limitations of traditional security measures as AI systems become more autonomous, advocating for cryptographic verification to ensure policy compliance and correct computation.

Potential applications span various sectors, from healthcare to finance, where cryptographic methods can support secure, policy-compliant operations without data exposure. This approach could revolutionize multi-hospital research, autonomous fraud detection, and infrastructure policy enforcement.

Biele will also highlight OpenMatter’s role in establishing verification standards through DAIAA and Hashgraph Online. These efforts aim to create universal protocols for AI agent compliance and execution verification.

CEO Renee Davis stresses that verification should transcend OpenMatter’s vision, becoming an industry-wide standard for trusted AI collaboration. The discussions in Belgrade are a crucial step toward this goal, promoting a safer, verifiable computing landscape.
