Infisical Secures Million, Valuation Hits 0 Million

Infisical Secures $40 Million, Valuation Hits $600 Million

Posted on October 28, 2026 By CWS

Infisical has successfully closed a Series B funding round, securing $40 million and valuing the San Francisco-based company at $600 million. This latest financial boost was led by returning investor Elad Gil, with significant backing from Gradient and Y Combinator. The new funding increases Infisical’s total capital raised to nearly $60 million.

Expanding Cybersecurity Solutions

Infisical specializes in providing advanced solutions for managing secrets, encryption keys, and digital certificates. Its services extend across cloud, on-premises, and AI infrastructures. The company’s offerings are trusted by over 1,300 organizations, including industry giants like Airbus, Volkswagen, Hugging Face, and Wise.

The core of Infisical’s innovation is its Agent Vault, which allows AI agents to interact with sensitive systems without accessing underlying credentials. Using placeholders, actual secrets are injected at a proxy, ensuring that the information remains secure and does not reach the agents. All agent activities are monitored and logged through Infisical’s system.

Addressing Cybersecurity Risks

Vlad Matsiiako, co-founder and CEO of Infisical, emphasized the importance of their technology in minimizing security risks. He stated, “Agents need access to company systems to do their jobs, but giving them actual passwords and API keys is a major security risk. We let agents get their job done safely without ever having those credentials in their hands.”

The funding will be directed towards accelerating product development, expanding engineering and go-to-market teams, and enhancing AI agent security capabilities. This is in line with the growing need for robust cybersecurity measures as AI agents become increasingly integral to enterprise operations.

Future Challenges in Cybersecurity

Investor Elad Gil highlighted the burgeoning challenge of securing AI agents, which are emerging as a new class of enterprise users. He noted, “AI agents are becoming a new class of users inside every enterprise, and securing their access will be one of the biggest cybersecurity challenges of the next decade.”

Infisical’s commitment to innovation in secrets management and digital security positions it as a key player in tackling future cybersecurity challenges. The strategic use of their latest funding round aims to bolster their capabilities and maintain their competitive edge in the market.
