Artemis Unveils with M Funding Boost

Artemis Unveils with $70M Funding Boost

Posted on April 16, 2026 By CWS

Artemis, a cybersecurity startup based in New York, has officially come out of stealth mode, announcing that it has secured a total of $70 million in seed and Series A funding. This significant financial backing is expected to propel the company’s innovative AI-based platform, which is designed to enhance threat detection and containment across various digital environments.

Revolutionizing Threat Detection

Since its founding in 2025, Artemis has focused on developing a platform that can keep pace with the evolving threat landscape. The platform utilizes artificial intelligence to provide defenders with the flexibility and speed that attackers often possess. By integrating behavioral log data with business context, Artemis can pinpoint unusual activities within customer networks.

The platform not only generates alerts but also autonomously investigates these notifications and identifies possible attack pathways. This allows customers to implement automatic fixes, reducing the time and effort required to respond to threats.

Cost-Effective and Comprehensive

Distinct from traditional approaches, Artemis does not store all data upfront. Instead, it fetches relevant information on demand from cloud sources and logs, which helps in cutting costs while ensuring comprehensive visibility. This capability allows Artemis to work seamlessly with existing security tools, including legacy Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.

Artemis is already being utilized by organizations in the technology, banking, and financial services sectors, indicating its broad applicability and effectiveness in diverse industries.

Strong Backing and Vision

The company has attracted investment from prominent firms such as Brightmind, Felicis, First Round Capital, Lockstep, Theory VC, and Two Sigma Ventures, along with several angel investors. These backers are placing their trust in Artemis’s unique approach to cybersecurity.

Co-founder and CTO Dan Shiebler emphasized that the core innovation lies not just in the advanced AI models, but in equipping these models with a deep, structured understanding of organizational operations. This approach facilitates reliable threat detection and enables automated responses, setting Artemis apart in the cybersecurity landscape.

With its recent funding, Artemis is poised to continue its growth and further develop its comprehensive security solutions, aiming to redefine how organizations approach cyber threat management in an increasingly complex digital world.
