Firefox 152 Addresses Critical Security Flaws
The latest Firefox version 152.0.6 includes fixes for two critical security flaws. Mozilla has informed users that exploit code is publicly available for these vulnerabilities, identified as CVE-2026-15718 and CVE-2026-15719. The issues pertain to an invalid pointer in the ‘JavaScript: WebAssembly’ component and a site isolation problem in the ‘DOM: Navigation’ component.
Despite the presence of exploit code, Mozilla has not detected any active attacks exploiting these vulnerabilities. Users are urged to update to the latest version to protect their systems from potential threats.
Chrome 150 Resolves Multiple Vulnerabilities
The Chrome 150 update resolves a total of 15 vulnerabilities, including two critical use-after-free issues in the Ozone component, tracked as CVE-2026-15764 and CVE-2026-15765. Additionally, the update addresses 12 high-severity bugs in various components such as Skia, Libyuv, HTML-in-Canvas, and more.
These defects include uninitialized use, heap buffer overflow, and insufficient validation of untrusted input. While most of these vulnerabilities were identified by Google’s internal team, three were reported by external researchers. The company has not yet disclosed the bug bounty amounts awarded for these discoveries.
