Copperhelm Secures $7M for Innovative Cloud Security

Posted on April 24, 2026 By CWS

Israel’s Copperhelm has successfully secured $7 million in seed financing to support its cutting-edge cloud security platform. The company, which emerged from stealth mode on Thursday, will utilize the funds to enhance product development, expand marketing strategies, and grow its engineering team.

Investment and Company Background

The funding round was spearheaded by TLV Partners, with contributions from ToDay Ventures, Icon, SaaS Ventures Israel, and a number of angel investors. Copperhelm was founded by industry veterans Shimon Tolts, Eyar Zilberman, and Roman Labunsky, who bring extensive experience from top tech firms such as Unity, McAfee, and RSA.

Innovative Platform Design

Copperhelm’s platform is distinguished by its agentic design, where AI agents autonomously oversee cloud environments, scrutinize potential threats, and implement solutions in real time. This approach is particularly beneficial for large enterprises, leveraging a proprietary component known as the Context Lake. This decision layer integrates and structures cloud data, equipping AI agents with the contextual insight necessary for effective risk assessment and intervention.

The platform deploys specialized AI agents tasked with network analysis, system inspection, adversary simulation, and automated remediation. These agents interact with live workloads, conduct thorough inspections, and can implement protective measures such as web application firewall (WAF) rules to neutralize threats without disrupting operations.

Strategic Impact on Cloud Security

Positioned as a more efficient alternative to traditional cloud security workflows, Copperhelm translates vast amounts of raw data into a prioritized catalogue of verified risks, streamlining the security processes for human teams. The AI-driven approach allows security teams to maintain control while delegating the investigation and remediation tasks to intelligent agents.

Co-founder and CEO Shimon Tolts emphasized the transformative potential of their platform, stating, “Engineering teams adopted AI years ago; security was left behind with manual processes. Copperhelm introduces genuine AI to cloud security, akin to adding a team of senior engineers instantly.”

Future Outlook

With its recent funding and innovative technology, Copperhelm is set to reshape the landscape of cloud security. As more enterprises seek to enhance their cybersecurity measures, Copperhelm’s AI-driven platform offers a promising solution for managing and mitigating risks in real time.
