Mave Secures $34M to Advance AI-Driven Security Operations

Posted on October 25, 2026 By CWS

Founded in 2025 by Unit 8200 alumni Guy Eshel and Raziel Oren, Mave, a Tel Aviv-based startup, is making significant strides in AI-driven security operations. Recently, the company secured $34 million in funding, comprising an initial $6 million seed round and a new $28 million Series A round. This latest funding initiative was spearheaded by Red Dot Capital Partners, with additional investments from Lumir Growth Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, and Emerge Ventures.

Expanding Global Reach and AI Research

Mave intends to utilize this influx of capital to propel its frontier AI research, enhance its enterprise product offerings, and expand its global footprint. The company, currently employing around 30 individuals, plans to increase its workforce, focusing on market expansion and advancing AI research roles.

The startup is addressing the challenges posed by AI, particularly the increased pace of attacks facilitated by adversarial AI. Mave’s approach leverages the vast amounts of data generated internally by AI to counter these threats, striving for rapid data management and actionable insights for security teams.

Innovative AI Solutions for Enterprise Security

In the current cybersecurity landscape, traditional SIEM defenses struggle to keep pace with automated attack methods. Mave’s CTO, Guy Eshel, highlights how their AI agents integrate with existing security stacks, utilizing fine-tuned SLMs and frontier LLMs to provide context-based reasoning in real-time, enhancing the efficiency of security operations.

CEO Raziel Oren emphasizes the necessity of AI in security operations, stating, “Our solution empowers security teams with AI that matches the pace of attackers, effectively demonstrating its process, and discerning when human intervention is essential.” Mave aims to transform AI into a responsible and integral component of enterprise protection strategies.

Balancing Automation and Human Oversight

While Mave’s AI agents are capable of executing actions based on their analyses, the company prioritizes controlled autonomy. This approach includes least-privileged integrations, necessary approval gates, and comprehensive audit trails to ensure security and accountability.

Mave’s advances in agentic SecOps are expected to alleviate alert fatigue among security staff, reducing operational costs by replacing some human roles with efficient AI agents. However, this shift also signals a reduction in available cybersecurity positions, reflecting the broader trend of automation in the industry.

As Mave continues to pioneer in the realm of AI-driven security, the implications for the cybersecurity workforce and the effectiveness of enterprise defenses are profound. The company is poised to redefine the interaction between AI and human oversight in security operations, paving the way for future innovations.
