Oligo Secures $60M to Enhance Runtime Security

Posted on August 4, 2026 By CWS

Oligo Secures Major Funding to Expand Security Solutions

In a significant development, Oligo Security has announced the successful completion of a $60 million funding round, elevating its total funding to $140 million. This round saw participation from prominent investors including Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Red Dot Capital, TLV Partners, alongside several angel investors.

Oligo’s Innovative Security Platform

Established in 2022, Oligo, based in Tel Aviv, has engineered a comprehensive security platform that offers extensive coverage for application code, cloud workloads, and AI systems. Their platform is designed to deliver deep runtime visibility coupled with real-time protection. By leveraging code execution observability, Oligo empowers organizations to thwart exploit attempts, prioritize vulnerabilities that carry high risks, and automate their response mechanisms.

The increasing speed at which vulnerabilities are disclosed and potentially exploited in today’s AI-driven landscape underscores the importance of Oligo’s runtime protection approach. The platform adeptly identifies and blocks malicious activities at the application layer, ensuring high accuracy in vulnerability management and defense against threats.

Addressing Modern Security Challenges

Oligo’s platform is also equipped to mitigate supply chain attacks, offering zero-day response capabilities and extended patching windows through virtual patching methods. These features provide organizations with enhanced resilience against emerging threats, enabling them to maintain robust security postures.

With the new capital injection, Oligo is set to accelerate its product innovation initiatives and broaden its global market operations. This strategic expansion aims to meet the growing demand for effective runtime security solutions worldwide.

Investment and Industry Impact

Jake Seid, a partner at Ballistic Ventures, highlighted the critical role of runtime environments in business operations, emphasizing their impact on revenue generation, customer interaction, and brand reputation. Seid noted that Oligo addresses a fundamental security challenge by safeguarding production environments without compromising on uptime. The company’s blend of technological innovation, strong customer traction, and leadership in the security domain solidified investor confidence and prompted increased investment.

Related industry movements include Zenity’s $125 million Series C funding, Obsidian Security’s $85 million raise at a $1.1 billion valuation, Okta’s acquisition of Permiso, and Visa’s planned acquisition of BioCatch for $2.4 billion, reflecting the dynamic nature of the cybersecurity landscape.
