White Circle Secures M to Enhance AI Oversight

White Circle Secures $11M to Enhance AI Oversight

Posted on May 12, 2026 By CWS

In a significant development for AI oversight, French cybersecurity startup White Circle has successfully raised $11 million in seed funding. The Paris-based company attracted investments from numerous angel investors, marking a crucial step in its mission to enhance AI monitoring and control.

White Circle: A New Era in AI Control

Established in 2025, White Circle has developed a cutting-edge platform that serves as a control layer for artificial intelligence systems. This innovative platform integrates safety, evaluation, and optimization, providing comprehensive oversight of AI operations. By scrutinizing AI inputs and outputs, the platform identifies potential risks such as hallucinations, harmful content, and prompt injection attacks.

The platform’s robust capabilities enable organizations to define policies that allow security teams to monitor AI model behavior effectively. It ensures the security of AI agents while maintaining control over their actions.

Advanced Features and Global Reach

White Circle’s solution is designed to detect and prevent the leakage of sensitive customer data, block malicious AI actions, and identify model failures. It also empowers security teams to enforce strict policies to mitigate risks. The platform boasts a remarkable capacity to support 150 languages, making it applicable to global products.

According to the startup, its AI models continuously improve, delivering more accurate results over time. This ongoing enhancement positions White Circle as a leader in AI management and security.

Future Prospects and Strategic Expansion

With the newly acquired funding, White Circle plans to accelerate product development and expand its workforce across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe. This strategic expansion aims to grow its customer base and strengthen its position in the market.

CEO Denis Shilov highlighted the significance of the platform, stating, “Until now there’s not been a platform purpose-built to monitor AI’s behavior, catch it when it goes wrong, or shape how it acts. With White Circle, we’re finally giving companies everything they need to hold their AI accountable and optimize their models in a single place, without sacrificing security, compliance, or risk.”

The startup’s progress reflects a broader trend in the tech industry, where companies increasingly focus on enhancing AI accountability and reliability.
