Rig Security Secures M to Combat AI Identity Threats

Rig Security Secures $12M to Combat AI Identity Threats

Posted on September 29, 2026 By CWS

Rig Security has officially launched with a significant $12 million in seed funding, introducing a pioneering identity protection platform tailored for the evolving agentic era. Spearheading the funding initiative were Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with additional backing from CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and a selection of angel investors.

Founder’s Vision and Background

Based in Tel Aviv, Rig Security was founded in 2025 by Guy Kozliner, who previously contributed to the CTO team at Wiz. Wiz, co-founded by Ami Luttwak, is recognized for its advancements in graph security solutions. Identifying a new opportunity, Kozliner applied the graph-based approach from Wiz to address emerging human and AI identity challenges. Notably, Luttwak is among Rig’s angel investors, underscoring a strong belief in the company’s mission.

Addressing Security Gaps in AI

AI agents, upon creation, inherit the identity of their developers or services, acting with their permissions. This scenario presents a challenge for traditional Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, which struggle to differentiate between actions taken by legitimate human users and those by potentially rogue AI agents. The inability to distinguish these actions without affecting the source user highlights a significant security gap.

Rig Security aims to bridge this gap by precisely determining whether actions are taken by authorized users or unauthorized agents. As Kozliner notes, AI agents often operate under human identities, making it difficult for security teams to discern the true actor behind potentially harmful activities. The challenge lies in managing access that can be broader than intended and masked by human-like activity.

Innovative Solutions and Future Plans

At the core of Rig’s solution are two key components: the Rig Identity Correlation Engine (RICE) and Bifrost, its endpoint sensor. RICE utilizes machine learning and mathematical modeling to identify identities across various systems with over 96% accuracy, mapping identity dependencies and potential abuse points. Bifrost, on the other hand, monitors identity behaviors, differentiating between user and AI sessions to enforce security policies effectively.

Together, these tools equip the Rig platform to manage identity security across AI and non-human entities, providing capabilities such as identity correlation and AI discovery. Already deployed within Fortune 200 companies, Rig Security is set to expand its research, U.S. market presence, and partnerships with the new funding.

As enterprises increasingly adopt AI technologies, Rig Security’s mission is to ensure that identity control remains robust and uncompromised.
