Aembit Enhances Security for AI Agents in Enterprises

Aembit Enhances Security for AI Agents in Enterprises

Posted on October 6, 2026 By CWS

Silver Springs, Maryland, October 6, 2026 — Aembit has announced a significant enhancement in security measures for personal AI agents operating within enterprise environments. The new support, offered at no additional cost to current clients, aims to secure the access AI agents have to corporate systems and data.

Securing AI Agents in the Workplace

As AI agents like Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots become integrated into business operations, they increasingly access sensitive areas such as email, cloud applications, and internal tools using employee credentials. This integration presents a risk of data breaches and unauthorized actions that can be mistaken for legitimate employee activities. Additionally, these credentials might be stored externally, outside the security team’s immediate oversight.

Aembit tackles these risks by implementing a ‘blended identity’ system. This approach merges an AI agent’s unique identity with that of the employee it represents, allowing organizations to assess both identities during access attempts. The solution also facilitates the issuance of temporary credentials for approved tasks, enabling centralized monitoring of agent activities, and allowing the revocation of agent access independently from employee accounts.

Addressing Access Challenges with Aembit

David Goldschlag, CEO and co-founder of Aembit, noted the inevitability of AI agents entering workplaces due to their utility in enhancing productivity. He emphasized that Aembit’s platform is designed to address the specific challenges posed by these agents: granting them distinct identities, controlling their reach, and managing their access without disrupting employee workflows.

With Aembit, organizations can assign unique identities to AI agents, apply real-time access policies, and replace permanent credentials with temporary ones that expire after use. This approach minimizes the risk associated with long-term credential storage and unauthorized access.

Comprehensive Access Management

Aembit’s solution extends across various enterprise services, applying its identity and policy model uniformly to SaaS applications, developer tools, and custom-built systems. The platform ensures security teams can audit access requests comprehensively, identifying which agent made the request, the employee it represented, and the resources accessed.

The flexibility of Aembit’s architecture allows it to integrate with existing infrastructure, either through its own Identity Gateway or other deployment points. This centralization of identity, authorization, and auditing enhances security while allowing dynamic evaluation of each access request.

In addition to supporting platforms like Meta Muse, Aembit secures AI agents and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and custom LLM-based workflows.

About Aembit

It provides organizations with a centralized hub for managing access risks, streamlining credential management, and accelerating AI implementation across business operations.
